Celebration of 9th International Yoga Day

The word 'Yoga' derives from Sanskrit and means to join or to unite symbolizing the union of body and consciousness.

The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated across the world annually on June 21st since 2015 and this year the World is celebrating 9th International Yoga Day. The draft resolution establishing the International Day of Yoga was proposed by India and endorsed by a record 175 member states. The proposal was first introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address during the opening of the 69th session of the General Assembly.

Keeping the thoughts of our Prime Minister alive, we at Rajju Shroff ROFEL University became the part of the yoga day celebration.   All the staff and student s performed the yoga in presence of Mrs Sheelaben (yoga instructor) of Patanjali Yog Samiti of South Gujarat.
